This material is sent to recycling facilities or used in recycling programs and diverted from landfills. Proper soil erosion measures are utilized, safeguarding streams and rivers from fine sediments that can upset their ecosystems. When constructing projects in environmentally sensitive areas, such as critical dunes or wetlands, I.S. Enterprises Inc personnel works with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure strict enforcement of all applicable laws, ordinances, and directives.

I.S. Enterprises Inc has instituted an in-house recycling program, including collecting paper products, metal cans and containers, empty ink cartridges as well as purchasing recycled office supplies.

Enterprises Inc is currently in the process of obtaining LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) professional certifications for individuals within the construction and architectural companies. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality.
